In a joint-study conducted by Capgemini, a global consulting company and Prologis, a global real estate consultant, Netherlands ranked as the most desirable location for European distribution centres. In another study conducted by the World Bank, Netherlands came on top in Europe in terms of its logistics performance index, which measures a country’s quality of infrastructure, logistics services, security of property, transparency of government procedures and macroeconomic conditions. The WB report also found the Netherlands to have a competitive advantage in terms of logistics competence, the country scoring the highest among all countries studied.
